BulletProofSoft Rapidshare Download Manager is a media downloader. It allows you to download content from websites like RapidShare, YouTube, 4Shared, DepositFiles, HotFile, and FileFactory. To download a file, all you have to do is paste the link (URL) of the file, and the application will add the link to a list of downloads. Then, you can start the process by clicking on "Start Download". One good thing about this application is that you can add links from different websites onto the same download queue, and you can then only start downloads from a specific website. For example, in my testing, I added a couple of YouTube video URLs and some RapidShare files. Then I clicked on the little arrow next to the "Start Download" button and selected "YouTube'. Only the YouTube video downloaded started.
The application has an OK interface. Some elements of the interface are a bit confusing. One of them is the field where you have to paste URLs. When you first launch the application, the field has instructions written in it, so you don't think that is where you have to paste the URLs. I figured it out after a while.
In my testing, I was unable to download a single file with this application. Both the Rapidshare files and the YouTube videos that I attempted to download returned a "Connection Error".
- It supports multiple websites
- It didn't work
